Times Up – IWSA Supporter
Time’s Up creates imaginations of possible and preferable futures. We do this in workshops and other events, but mostly we undertake to create experiential futures; imaginations of a possible future as a physical space to be experienced by visitors.
As part of our work on preferential futures, Time’s Up has been investigating the implications of low/no carbon travel and transport. One of the central possibilities here is the use of wind powered vessels for international trade and travel. Thus we imagine and create scenarios where visitors can experience fragments of these worlds. We also do research into sail cargo and other transport/travel options, with several small publications, create prefigurative events of possible clean cargo futures and other imaginations.
