Fifth Wind Propulsion Conference 2026

The Wind Propulsion 2026 Conference will be held over two days at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Headquarters in London from 17-18 February 2026. The conference is hosted by the Royal Institution of naval Architects (RINA) in collaboration with the International Windship Association (IWSA).

The conference will provide critical updates on technology, design, policy, and performance. Attendees will gain valuable insights, engage with leaders across the field, and help shape the future of sustainable shipping. Currently there is an open call for conference papers.

The 4th Wind Propulsion Conference in 2024 attracted over 150 professionals at the forefront of sustainable maritime innovation, including naval architects, engineers, shipowners, class societies, technology developers, researchers, and regulators.
