Econowind has installed five ships with Ventofoil systems over the past month.
The installations cover the twin vessels, the 6,000 dwt Hansa Drejoe and Hansa Christiansoe general cargo vessels for Leonhardt & Blumberg at Royal Niestern Sander yard in Delfzijl, Netherlands, the first two of four ships to be installed. Read more…
The 3,800 dwt general cargo vessels the Gerd Sibum and Maria Sibum for Reederei Bernd Sibum at Damen Ship Repair yard in Harlingen, Netherlands. The fifth ship is the newbuild 6,000 dwt MV Skretting Gro, as part of the Vertom Group fleet. The diesel-electric mpp vessel was outfitted at the Lumarine Dry Dock & Ship Repair in Bremerhaven, Germany. Read more…
