Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement is an international & economic development agency that promotes and enhances the appeal of the territory. Saint-Nazaire and Nantes are hosts to a driven ecosystem in the development of wind propulsion. The cities are home to many projects inspired by the area’s historic industrial past, dedicated competitiveness clusters and renowned academic skills.

Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement organized the first national event dedicated to wind-powered maritime transport, called Wind for Goods in September 2021, the chance to discover solutions and innovations that contribute to the decarbonisation of freight transport, and to discuss the key challenges of this sector which aims to preserve the environment.
With more than 30 exhibitors and 500 visitors, this event was a huge success and we are now looking at June 2023 for a second edition that will be an international event, in partnership with IWSA.
