Odfjell has actively pursued energy efficiency for many years, and the long-term efforts have significantly reduced the fleet’s emissions. We have retrofitted more than 135 energy saving devices (ESD) since 2014, and line up for more than 50 more installations from 2023 to 2030. As a new step in its decarbonization journey, Odfjell will install four of the innovative eSail system on a chemical tanker in 2024, making it the first tanker vessel in the world to install the Bound4blue technology.
