The Baltic Exchange has launched a tool to support informed early-stage decision-making around wind propulsion systems. These route-specific wind-assist heatmaps are especially designed with smaller operators in mind as they often face challenges in assessing critical data to understand the impact and return on investment of these technologies.

The International Windship Association and a number of our members have collaborated on this project and this will form the basis for further work with more technology providers delivering performance data and refining the model further.
